A USB Data Blocker is a device that plugs into the charging cable and prevents an unknown USB charging port from accessing data or installing malware on the device being charged. It does this by connecting the power but not the data lines in the adapter.
I chose the Afterplug Data Blocker because they have C connections on both ends and supported 5 amps.
